Tuner Series Stage II Camshafts are designed to optimize horsepower and torque on mildly modified engines and are the result of Skunk2’s years’ worth of drag racing and road racing efforts. No other line of high-performance camshafts even comes close to Skunk2’s Tuner Series.

Skunk2 camshafts deliver unparalleled power as a result of continual, extensive development and testing. By utilizing advanced manufacturing techniques and the latest computerized simulation and modeling equipment, Skunk2 camshafts are able to deliver maximum power across the entire powerband.

Skunk2 designs and tests all of its camshafts in-house to ensure the highest quality and performance. Each camshaft is new, not regrind, and manufactured from high-strength, hollow, iron-alloy cores featuring cutting-edge profiles.

All Skunk2 camshafts are ground to exact specifications using state-of-the-art CNC cam grinding machines equipped with cubic-boron grinding wheels and feature hardened, wear-resistant lobes and surfaces. Skunk2’s Tuner Series Camshafts for R18A1-based engines feature Fast Ramp and AMAX profile technology, which increases overall performance and results in unmatched response from idle to redline. AMAX technology simply maximizes the area under the lift curve but without compromising reliability or valvetrain stability.

Skunk2’s profiles feature more duration than competitors’ at lifts above 1mm, resulting in greater efficiency and more power. And thanks to Fast Ramp, the same technology used in Formula One racing, seat timing is reduced, which results in additional cylinder pressure and more torque but without compromising valvetrain longevity.

The Stage II R18A1 camshafts utilize the stock VTEC economy lobe. This mean you do not sacrifice MPG while cruising, your MPG will remain the same under cruse loads. The Stage II cam also provides more lift and duration, and is a drop in cam that requires no spring or retainer upgrade. To extract the utmost power a tuning device such as Hondata would be required.

How fast is shipping?

Most orders placed on a weekday before 1pm EST will ship out the same day. Otherwise, it is common for parts to ship in 2-3 days from order date. Please note that both of these exclude special order items, which are clearly marked on product pages.

What is the returns policy?

Most products sold by Axion Industries LLC are covered by our Standard Return Policy and may be returned within 30 days of the original invoice date for a refund. Please note that a restocking fee will apply (see "Refunds Policy" in FAQ).

All returns require written approval from Axion Industries LLC. Original Shipping and return shipping charges are strictly non-refundable. For more information regarding our shipping refund policy, please refer to the "Refunds Policy" on FAQ.

Does it come with a warranty?

Axion Industries LLC does not offer any type of warranty coverage for defective products except those that are manufactured by us. However, the majority of the products available through our website are covered separately under a manufacturer's warranty.

Our customer service representatives can provide limited support, advice, and assistance identifying the possibility of any manufacturer defects. If we suspect your product does have serious defects, our customer service department can serve as a contact with the manufacturer to help arrange a warranty inspection and, if applicable, any necessary repairs or replacement shipments.

If you wish, you may also contact the manufacturer directly for information regarding product eligibility and specific terms and conditions of warranty coverage.

What happens if I want to cancel?

Unfulfilled, cancelled orders will require a 10%-30% cancellation fee unless you choose store credit (a 5%-15% cancellation fee will apply in this case). This fee is to:

  1. Recover the processing fees for both the order you placed and the order
    you canceled.
  2. Cancellation fees imposed by the manufacturer, should the part be coming
    straight from them. OR
  3. Restocking fees, since the part now has to be resold.

The following may NOT be canceled:

  • Orders that are already fulfilled – the Returns Policy will apply.
  • Pre-orders - the Returns Policy will apply.
  • Special Order items that were approved for sourcing by the customer.
  • Items that are on sale and labeled "final sale" during that sale period.
