Narrower Gates, Less Play, Stiffer Feel:

Refining your Civic or Integra's shifting system is a great way to add a sporty feel that will put a smile on your face every time you go for a drive. The ACUITY Shifter Rocker Upgrade for the 11th Gen Honda Civic and 5th Gen Acura Integra can be appreciated as much during street driving as at the track. Altered geometry reduces the mechanical advantage of the rocker to provide 10% narrower gates and a stiffer shift feel in the lateral (left/right) direction. Much like how a short throw adapter reduces the distance in the longitudinal (forward and reverse) direction while changing gears, this Shifter Rocker Upgrade reduces the distance in the lateral (left and right) direction while changing gates (shifts between gears 2/3 or 4/5). 6061 aluminum is used in place of the OEM plastic, meaning less flex when shifting forcefully and better feedback from the transmission during shifts. The rocker's main pivot uses a precision bronze bushing to reduce play and friction. ACUITY's unique patent-pending spherical joint design incorporates low-friction, self-lubricating bushings that reduce friction while naturally eliminating play in the joint. This allows the joint to wear-compensate over time, meaning the rocker will age gracefully and provide many years of use, abuse, and happy shifting. Also included with each kit is a packet of premium grease and 2 retaining rings needed for installation. 

To get the most refined experience from your OEM shifter, we recommend pairing this Shifter Rocker Upgrade with the ACUiTY Shifter Base Bushings (SKU 1914), ACUiTY Shifter Cable Bushings (SKU 1881), ACUiTY Shifter Centering Spring Upgrade (SKU 1988), and the ACUiTY Short Throw Adapter (SKU 1983).

A packet of grease is included with each kit to help lubricate certain areas during installation. 

WHAT TO EXPECT

On the 11th Gen Honda Civic and 5th Gen Acura Integra, this Shifter Rocker Upgrade will reduce gate spacing by approximately 10% and will stiffen the lateral action of the shifter. Additionally, when moving the shifter in the lateral (left or right) directions, you should notice less play and less compliance (sponginess).

What is the returns policy?

Most products sold by Axion Industries LLC are covered by our Standard Return Policy and may be returned within 30 days of the original invoice date for a refund. Please note that a restocking fee will apply (see "Refunds Policy" in FAQ).

All returns require written approval from Axion Industries LLC. Original Shipping and return shipping charges are strictly non-refundable. For more information regarding our shipping refund policy, please refer to the "Refunds Policy" on FAQ.

Does it come with a warranty?

Axion Industries LLC does not offer any type of warranty coverage for defective products except those that are manufactured by us. However, the majority of the products available through our website are covered separately under a manufacturer's warranty.

What happens if I want to cancel?

Unfulfilled, cancelled orders will require a 10%-30% cancellation fee unless you choose store credit (a 5%-15% cancellation fee will apply in this case). This fee is to:

  1. Recover the processing fees for both the order you placed and the order
    you canceled.
  2. Cancellation fees imposed by the manufacturer, should the part be coming
    straight from them. OR
  3. Restocking fees, since the part now has to be resold.

The following may NOT be canceled:

  • Orders that are already fulfilled – the Returns Policy will apply.
  • Pre-orders - the Returns Policy will apply.
  • Special Order items that were approved for sourcing by the customer.
  • Items that are on sale and labeled "final sale" during that sale period.
