While the FK8 Type R’s factory wing is a standout styling element, not every owner wants to keep it. Many drivers prefer a cleaner rear profile but don’t want to leave exposed holes in the hatch or resort to complicated modifications. The PRL FK8 Wing Delete provides a simple, premium solution that lets you remove the rear wing while maintaining a finished, factory-quality appearance.

Designed as a direct bolt-in replacement, the PRL Wing Delete installs in place of the factory wing risers and cleanly integrates into the rear hatch. Each plate is precision machined from billet aluminum and finished in black hard anodizing for durability and a refined look. The sculpted upper surface follows the body lines of the FK8, giving the rear of the car a subtle and purposeful appearance.

Beyond aesthetics, the design focuses heavily on proper sealing and reliability. Closed-cell EPDM foam gaskets compress between the hatch and the plates to create a weather-tight seal, preventing water intrusion into the cabin and protecting the hatch structure. Installation requires no cutting, no permanent modification, and remains completely reversible if you ever choose to reinstall the wing.

How fast is shipping?

Most orders placed on a weekday before 1pm EST will ship out the same day. Otherwise, it is common for parts to ship in 2-3 days from order date. Please note that both of these exclude special order items, which are clearly marked on product pages.

What is the returns policy?

Most products sold by Axion Industries LLC are covered by our Standard Return Policy and may be returned within 30 days of the original invoice date for a refund. Please note that a restocking fee will apply (see "Refunds Policy" in FAQ).

All returns require written approval from Axion Industries LLC. Original Shipping and return shipping charges are strictly non-refundable. For more information regarding our shipping refund policy, please refer to the "Refunds Policy" on FAQ.

Does it come with a warranty?

Axion Industries LLC does not offer any type of warranty coverage for defective products except those that are manufactured by us. However, the majority of the products available through our website are covered separately under a manufacturer's warranty.

What happens if I want to cancel?

Unfulfilled, cancelled orders will require a 10%-30% cancellation fee unless you choose store credit (a 5%-15% cancellation fee will apply in this case). This fee is to:

  1. Recover the processing fees for both the order you placed and the order
    you canceled.
  2. Cancellation fees imposed by the manufacturer, should the part be coming
    straight from them. OR
  3. Restocking fees, since the part now has to be resold.

The following may NOT be canceled:

  • Orders that are already fulfilled – the Returns Policy will apply.
  • Pre-orders - the Returns Policy will apply.
  • Special Order items that were approved for sourcing by the customer.
  • Items that are on sale and labeled "final sale" during that sale period.
