The Koyorad hyper Radiator Cap is for intelligent tuners who demand to extract every ounce of cooling efficiency from their performance machines. Koyorad highly recommends our 1.3 bar Koyorad Hyper Cap (Koyo part number SK-C13) for use with Koyorad All Aluminum Racing Radiators (when applicable).

The Koyorad Hyper Cap is made in Japan with the highest quality components ensuring the best possible performance from your Koyorad Racing radiator.

By increasing the coolant pressure and raising its boiling point, the faster your engine is relieved of excessive engine heat.

The Hyper Radiator Cap withstands an open valve pressure rating of 1.3kg cm2, adding to you under-the-hood desire for extra toughness and elegant touch of style.

Why is increased Pressure Better?

It’s simple. When water is pressurized, its natural boiling point is increased. Most modern vehicles are equipped with a 0.9 Bar pressure cap. Koyorad’s Hyper Cap is rated at 1.3 Bar, which increases the boiling temperature of your coolant to 267.80 degrees Fahrenheit. That is nearly a 56-degree increase over water's normal boiling point. By increasing the boiling point of water, an engine's cooling system will have the added heat capacity, maximizing performance under ever-changing racing conditions.

How fast is shipping?

Most orders placed on a weekday before 1pm EST will ship out the same day. Otherwise, it is common for parts to ship in 2-3 days from order date. Please note that both of these exclude special order items, which are clearly marked on product pages.

What is the returns policy?

Most products sold by Axion Industries LLC are covered by our Standard Return Policy and may be returned within 30 days of the original invoice date for a refund. Please note that a restocking fee will apply (see "Refunds Policy" in FAQ).

All returns require written approval from Axion Industries LLC. Original Shipping and return shipping charges are strictly non-refundable. For more information regarding our shipping refund policy, please refer to the "Refunds Policy" on FAQ.

Does it come with a warranty?

Axion Industries LLC does not offer any type of warranty coverage for defective products except those that are manufactured by us. However, the majority of the products available through our website are covered separately under a manufacturer's warranty.

If you recently purchased a product from Axion Industries LLC and are concerned about the fitment or performance of your item, please contact us for assistance.

Our customer service representatives can provide limited support, advice, and assistance identifying the possibility of any manufacturer defects. If we suspect your product does have serious defects, our customer service department can serve as a contact with the manufacturer to help arrange a warranty inspection and, if applicable, any necessary repairs or replacement shipments.

If you wish, you may also contact the manufacturer directly for information regarding product eligibility and specific terms and conditions of warranty coverage.

What happens if I want to cancel?

Unfulfilled, cancelled orders will require a 10%-30% cancellation fee unless you choose store credit (a 5%-15% cancellation fee will apply in this case). This fee is to:

  1. Recover the processing fees for both the order you placed and the order
    you canceled.
  2. Cancellation fees imposed by the manufacturer, should the part be coming
    straight from them. OR
  3. Restocking fees, since the part now has to be resold.

The following may NOT be canceled:

  • Orders that are already fulfilled – the Returns Policy will apply.
  • Pre-orders - the Returns Policy will apply.
  • Special Order items that were approved for sourcing by the customer.
  • Items that are on sale and labeled "final sale" during that sale period.
