These shifter cables were created for drivers that demand the ultimate shifting performance from the 08-12 Honda Accord K24 and 09-14 Acura TSX equipped with a manual transmission. These cables have been dialed in through our test cars' years of track and street use. Hybrid Racing shifter cables are a performance upgrade replacement for stock OEM cables. The solid rod ends, permanently lubricated core, spherical bearings, & aluminum end links give the Hybrid Racing cables a firmer, tighter feel over OEM cables, resulting in fewer missed shifts and a more connected feel to the chassis. 

Heat resistant up to 225*F with a max bend radius of 5" (for optimum life). 

We created a cable to give people peace of mind and improved driving performance when they shift hard and during demanding racing applications, and the Hybrid Racing performance cables achieve this goal! Other notable features of the Hybrid Racing cables are spherical bearings, stainless steel push rods, and upgraded stainless steel swivel support tubes (oem are plastic) that are known to break on the OEM cables. All rod ends, and mounting bushings are CNC machined 6061 aluminum, then black anodized before being laser etched with the Hybrid Racing logo and flair.

Are these cables a direct replacement for my OEM Shifter Cables cables? Yes! 
The aluminum bushings simplify the installation, but more importantly, they eliminate plastic parts that tend to flex on the OEM cables, leading to a sloppy feeling shift. Because these cables were designed with performance applications in mind, there will be an increase in NVH. It is possible that more transmission noise and vibration will be transmitted into the cabin. Since the Accord has a ton of interior panels and a deep console, it is minimal, but keep in mind it may not be as quiet as stock parts.

What is included with these shifter cables? 
The kit comes with two shifter cables; each shifter cable set includes two cotter pins and clips for the shifter end. We also include new hardware for the shifter cable mounting plates that attach to the transmission bracket. You will reuse your OEM center bracket and cable seal.  

These cables will only fit the Accord and TSX equipped with the K24 engine and manual transmission.

How fast is shipping?

Most orders placed on a weekday before 1pm EST will ship out the same day. Otherwise, it is common for parts to ship in 2-3 days from order date. Please note that both of these exclude special order items, which are clearly marked on product pages.

What is the returns policy?

Most products sold by Axion Industries LLC are covered by our Standard Return Policy and may be returned within 30 days of the original invoice date for a refund. Please note that a restocking fee will apply (see "Refunds Policy" in FAQ).

All returns require written approval from Axion Industries LLC. Original Shipping and return shipping charges are strictly non-refundable. For more information regarding our shipping refund policy, please refer to the "Refunds Policy" on FAQ.

Does it come with a warranty?

Axion Industries LLC does not offer any type of warranty coverage for defective products except those that are manufactured by us. However, the majority of the products available through our website are covered separately under a manufacturer's warranty.

If we suspect your product does have serious defects, our customer service department can serve as a contact with the manufacturer to help arrange a warranty inspection and, if applicable, any necessary repairs or replacement shipments.

If you wish, you may also contact the manufacturer directly for information regarding product eligibility and specific terms and conditions of warranty coverage.

What happens if I want to cancel?

Unfulfilled, cancelled orders will require a 10%-30% cancellation fee unless you choose store credit (a 5%-15% cancellation fee will apply in this case). This fee is to:

  1. Recover the processing fees for both the order you placed and the order
    you canceled.
  2. Cancellation fees imposed by the manufacturer, should the part be coming
    straight from them. OR
  3. Restocking fees, since the part now has to be resold.

The following may NOT be canceled:

  • Orders that are already fulfilled – the Returns Policy will apply.
  • Pre-orders - the Returns Policy will apply.
  • Special Order items that were approved for sourcing by the customer.
  • Items that are on sale and labeled "final sale" during that sale period.
