HKS’s HIPERMAX Touring Spring Kit for FL5 Honda Civic Type R answers the complaint that follows this car everywhere: it leaves the factory looking too tall. HKS drops it 13mm, 19mm or 25mm and leaves the electronically controlled dampers exactly where Honda put them, so Comfort, Sport and +R keep switching the car the way they always did. Spring rates barely move from stock and HKS works the factory bump stops deliberately instead of dialing in rate, which is how the car keeps its ride quality and its posture. The springs sit on camber-adjustable pillow ball upper mounts at the front, sharpening turn-in.

Design and Performance

  • The HIPERMAX Touring Spring Kit runs camber-adjustable pillow ball upper mounts at the front in place of the rubber originals. The spherical bearing gives the steering a directness rubber cannot, and the camber adjustment turns a lowered ride height into room for wider tires rather than a fitment problem. Front height comes from the arrangement of two supplied spacers rather than a threaded collar, which is how HKS offers three heights while keeping suspension travel at each: both spacers under the upper mount sits the car 13mm low, the body between them gives the 19mm test setting, and a single spacer above the body drops it to 25mm. The rear uses a screw-type adjuster.

What is the returns policy?

Most products sold by Axion Industries LLC are covered by our Standard Return Policy and may be returned within 30 days of the original invoice date for a refund. Please note that a restocking fee will apply (see "Refunds Policy" in FAQ).

All returns require written approval from Axion Industries LLC. Original Shipping and return shipping charges are strictly non-refundable. For more information regarding our shipping refund policy, please refer to the "Refunds Policy" on FAQ.

Does it come with a warranty?

Axion Industries LLC does not offer any type of warranty coverage for defective products except those that are manufactured by us. However, the majority of the products available through our website are covered separately under a manufacturer's warranty.

What happens if I want to cancel?

Unfulfilled, cancelled orders will require a 10%-30% cancellation fee unless you choose store credit (a 5%-15% cancellation fee will apply in this case). This fee is to:

  1. Recover the processing fees for both the order you placed and the order
    you canceled.
  2. Cancellation fees imposed by the manufacturer, should the part be coming
    straight from them. OR
  3. Restocking fees, since the part now has to be resold.

The following may NOT be canceled:

  • Orders that are already fulfilled – the Returns Policy will apply.
  • Pre-orders - the Returns Policy will apply.
  • Special Order items that were approved for sourcing by the customer.
  • Items that are on sale and labeled "final sale" during that sale period.
