FITS: BMW M2 G87

Front splitters are very effective at producing front-end downforce without increasing drag significantly. They do this by creating a large pressure delta between the top and bottom surfaces. Utilizing scan data directly from the car and CFD, we were able to produce a splitter that pairs well with our UCW or V1X rear wings and can easily handle the loads seen by the splitter. Splitter tunnels or splitter diffusers were added to increase front end downforce further than a flat blade alone. The splitter mounts to multiple chassis locations for a strong and durable mounting style. All hardware locations are recessed for improved aerodynamic performance. 

During research and development, great care and focus was taken to ensure the oil cooler's exit airflow did not adversely hurt splitter performance. We offer a block off plate, an exit duct, and you can run the car with a wide open splitter as well, for varying levels of front on downforce and performance. 

The splitter is produced from a carbon polyweave, which is the same material used in high forms of Motorsports. The material is not brittle, so no more issues with cracking like carbon fiber and ABS. It will not grab and bend under the car like aluminum units either.  The material is also lightweight and stiff; which makes it a great splitter material

The air dam is used to bring the splitter flat with the vehicle's underbody and improve performance further.  The air dam is produced from sheet aluminum and then powder coated black for durability.

How fast is shipping?

Most orders placed on a weekday before 1pm EST will ship out the same day. Otherwise, it is common for parts to ship in 2-3 days from order date. Please note that both of these exclude special order items, which are clearly marked on product pages.

What is the returns policy?

Most products sold by Axion Industries LLC are covered by our Standard Return Policy and may be returned within 30 days of the original invoice date for a refund. Please note that a restocking fee will apply (see "Refunds Policy" in FAQ).

All returns require written approval from Axion Industries LLC. Original Shipping and return shipping charges are strictly non-refundable. For more information regarding our shipping refund policy, please refer to the "Refunds Policy" on FAQ.

Does it come with a warranty?

Axion Industries LLC does not offer any type of warranty coverage for defective products except those that are manufactured by us. However, the majority of the products available through our website are covered separately under a manufacturer's warranty.

What happens if I want to cancel?

Unfulfilled, cancelled orders will require a 10%-30% cancellation fee unless you choose store credit (a 5%-15% cancellation fee will apply in this case). This fee is to:

  1. Recover the processing fees for both the order you placed and the order
    you canceled.
  2. Cancellation fees imposed by the manufacturer, should the part be coming
    straight from them. OR
  3. Restocking fees, since the part now has to be resold.

The following may NOT be canceled:

  • Orders that are already fulfilled – the Returns Policy will apply.
  • Pre-orders - the Returns Policy will apply.
  • Special Order items that were approved for sourcing by the customer.
  • Items that are on sale and labeled "final sale" during that sale period.
