FITS: The Honda Fit 1.5L

It is for good reason that virtually every top professional engine builder relies on ARP Pro Series head studs for their all-out competition power plants.

ARP only uses premium grade 8740 alloy and a proprietary ARP2000 alloy that are rated far superior to aircraft quality alloy steels. Also, each stud is placed vertically into special racks and precisely heat-treated to 200,000 psi for the 8740 material and 220,000 psi for the ARP2000 material. This procedure ensures complete heat penetration and the results are far superior.

Following heat-treat, each stud is centerless ground to make it as close to perfectly concentric as possible, then thread rolled, which gives them about 2000% (that's 20x) better fatigue strength than those studs that are threaded prior to heat-treat (a very common industry practice).

ARP offers specially undercut studs for several engines. This procedure (done only to the shorter studs) more equalizes the stretch of both studs, which makes for a more consistent clamping force and one that compensates for head gasket compression when the cylinder heads are installed. This helps prevent blown head gaskets, and assures optimum engine sealing!

Because ARP studs are manufactured to such exacting tolerances, gaskets and cylinder heads literally glide into position and are perfectly aligned.

How fast is shipping?

Most orders placed on a weekday before 1pm EST will ship out the same day. Otherwise, it is common for parts to ship in 2-3 days from order date. Please note that both of these exclude special order items, which are clearly marked on product pages.

What is the returns policy?

Most products sold by Axion Industries LLC are covered by our Standard Return Policy and may be returned within 30 days of the original invoice date for a refund. Please note that a restocking fee will apply (see "Refunds Policy" in FAQ).

All returns require written approval from Axion Industries LLC. Original Shipping and return shipping charges are strictly non-refundable. For more information regarding our shipping refund policy, please refer to the "Refunds Policy" on FAQ.

Does it come with a warranty?

Axion Industries LLC does not offer any type of warranty coverage for defective products except those that are manufactured by us. However, the majority of the products available through our website are covered separately under a manufacturer's warranty.

What happens if I want to cancel?

Unfulfilled, cancelled orders will require a 10%-30% cancellation fee unless you choose store credit (a 5%-15% cancellation fee will apply in this case). This fee is to:

  1. Recover the processing fees for both the order you placed and the order
    you canceled.
  2. Cancellation fees imposed by the manufacturer, should the part be coming
    straight from them. OR
  3. Restocking fees, since the part now has to be resold.

The following may NOT be canceled:

  • Orders that are already fulfilled – the Returns Policy will apply.
  • Pre-orders - the Returns Policy will apply.
  • Special Order items that were approved for sourcing by the customer.
  • Items that are on sale and labeled "final sale" during that sale period.
