Water/Methanol Injection reduces air inlet temperature and suppresses harmful detonation on forced induction and naturally aspirated high compression gasoline engines, allowing increased boost and advanced ignition timing for up to 20% more power.

On diesel engines, W/MI reduces AIT and enhances combustion chamber cooling and efficiency, which allows the engine to deliver more power with less effort.
