The 10th Generation Civic Type-R is the ultimate Honda-lovers goal. Already responsive and powerful as delivered, this latest platform is being explored for serious transformations in power output. As those improvements surpass the capabilities of the OE clutch components, ACT is again stepping up to provide the latest clutch developments - just as Honda drivers have counted on for over two decades.

ACT’s new Clutch Kits for the Civic Type-R include a heavy-duty pressure plate, Streetlite flywheel (15.2 lbs), a choice of disc, release bearing, pilot bearing, and alignment tool.

The heavy-duty pressure plate incorporates hardened diaphragm fingers for decreased wear and provides a 33% increase in clamp force over the stock unit.

ACT Street Clutch Kits

The ACT Street Clutch Kits combine the heavy-duty pressure plate with a Performance Organic Street Disc. The disc features premium organic friction materials able to withstand increased heat and abuse, steel-backed linings for high-burst strength and modifications, engineered for quicker shifting.

The ACT Street Clutch Kit provides a moderate and consistent pedal feel, smooth engagement and significantly improved durability. These kits meet SFI Spec 1.1 and have increased torque capacity up to 412 FT-LB.

ACT Race Clutch Kits

The ACT Race Clutch Kits combine the heavy-duty pressure plate with a Cerametallic Xtreme Race Disc, which is available in 6- and 4-pad spring-centered and rigid hub designs. These discs are highly durable while allowing for quick shifting. The Xtreme Race Discs are for high-powered engines and recommended for track use only.

The ACT Race Clutch Kits meet SFI Spec 1.1 and are rated to hold up to 527 FT-LB of torque at the crank.

How fast is shipping?

Most orders placed on a weekday before 1pm EST will ship out the same day. Otherwise, it is common for parts to ship in 2-3 days from order date. Please note that both of these exclude special order items, which are clearly marked on product pages.

What is the returns policy?

Most products sold by Axion Industries LLC are covered by our Standard Return Policy and may be returned within 30 days of the original invoice date for a refund. Please note that a restocking fee will apply (see "Refunds Policy" in FAQ).

All returns require written approval from Axion Industries LLC. Original Shipping and return shipping charges are strictly non-refundable. For more information regarding our shipping refund policy, please refer to the "Refunds Policy" on FAQ.

Does it come with a warranty?

Axion Industries LLC does not offer any type of warranty coverage for defective products except those that are manufactured by us. However, the majority of the products available through our website are covered separately under a manufacturer's warranty.

Our customer service representatives can provide limited support, advice, and assistance identifying the possibility of any manufacturer defects. If we suspect your product does have serious defects, our customer service department can serve as a contact with the manufacturer to help arrange a warranty inspection and, if applicable, any necessary repairs or replacement shipments.

If you wish, you may also contact the manufacturer directly for information regarding product eligibility and specific terms and conditions of warranty coverage.

What happens if I want to cancel?

Unfulfilled, cancelled orders will require a 10%-30% cancellation fee unless you choose store credit (a 5%-15% cancellation fee will apply in this case). This fee is to:

  1. Recover the processing fees for both the order you placed and the order
    you canceled.
  2. Cancellation fees imposed by the manufacturer, should the part be coming
    straight from them. OR
  3. Restocking fees, since the part now has to be resold.

The following may NOT be canceled:

  • Orders that are already fulfilled – the Returns Policy will apply.
  • Pre-orders - the Returns Policy will apply.
  • Special Order items that were approved for sourcing by the customer.
  • Items that are on sale and labeled "final sale" during that sale period.
