FITS: 10th Gen Honda Accord

Narrower Gates, Less Play, Stiffer Feel: Refining your Accord's shifting system is a great way to add a sporty feel that will put a smile on your face every time you go for a drive.

The ACUITY Shifter Rocker Upgrade for the 10th Gen Honda Accord can be appreciated as much during street driving as at the track. Altered geometry reduces the mechanical advantage of the rocker to provide narrower, stiffer gates.

Much like how a short throw adapter reduces the distance in the forward and reverse direction while changing gears, this Shifter Rocker Upgrade reduces the distance in the left and right direction while changing gears (such as 2 to 3, 4 to 5, etc).

The OEM plastic has been replaced with billet 6061-T6 aluminum construction. This makes for a much stiffer part, meaning less flex when shifting forcefully and better feedback from the transmission during shifts. Additionally, ACUITY's unique joint designs at the main pivot and spherical joint incorporate low-friction, self-lubricating bushings that are designed to reduce friction in the shifter while naturally eliminating any gaps between parts in the joint. This allows the joint to wear-compensate over time, meaning the rocker will age gracefully and provide many years of use, abuse, and happy shifting.

Class 10.9 steel hardware and an aluminum bushing replace the factory snap-in feature, further reducing free play. This pairs very well with Acuity's Shifter Base Bushings (1930), Shifter Centering Spring Upgrade (1918), and Short Throw Adapter (1923).

Installation Note: A packet of silicone grease is included with each kit to help lubricate the o-rings before installation into the shifter. It is not necessary to grease the spherical joint or hinge.

What to expect: This Shifter Rocker Upgrade will reduce gate spacing by approximately 17% and will stiffen the lateral(left/right) centering action of the shifter. Additionally, compliance (flex) in the lateral will be decreased, feeling more rigid, and free play in the lateral direction will also be reduced.

What is the returns policy?

Most products sold by Axion Industries LLC are covered by our Standard Return Policy and may be returned within 30 days of the original invoice date for a refund. Please note that a restocking fee will apply (see "Refunds Policy" in FAQ).

Does it come with a warranty?

Axion Industries LLC does not offer any type of warranty coverage for defective products except those that are manufactured by us. However, the majority of the products available through our website are covered separately under a manufacturer's warranty.

What happens if I want to cancel?

Unfulfilled, cancelled orders will require a 10%-30% cancellation fee unless you choose store credit (a 5%-15% cancellation fee will apply in this case). This fee is to:

  1. Recover the processing fees for both the order you placed and the order
    you canceled.
  2. Cancellation fees imposed by the manufacturer, should the part be coming
    straight from them. OR
  3. Restocking fees, since the part now has to be resold.

The following may NOT be canceled:

  • Orders that are already fulfilled – the Returns Policy will apply.
  • Pre-orders - the Returns Policy will apply.
  • Special Order items that were approved for sourcing by the customer.
  • Items that are on sale and labeled "final sale" during that sale period.
