NEW TARIFF NEWS

PRICING

While the governments are close to a deal, it remains to be seen if prices will come back down from those manufacturers that have increased their pricing. The newest price increases include:

AEM Electronics (10% average increase)
BC Racing Swift Spring Upgrades ($100 increase)
Tein (12% - 15% average increase)
Mishimoto (6% - 12% average increase)

Some of those listed above have not had a price increase in a few years.

PRICING TRENDS

We are seeing price increases and the manufacturer starts to see low levels of stock. When the begin to run low, a modest price adjustment is made, followed by another increase when they run out. This helps to compensate for higher manufacturing costs on the next batch, which include the imposed shipping fees/tariffs.

SHIPMENT DELAYS

We are continuing to see huge delays on shipments coming into port because of these tariffs. Both PLM and HPS have much longer than normal wait times right now and this includes any orders placed well before the tariffs were enacted. We will continue to update you as we know more.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Until the tariff negotiations are done and signed off on, we are not accepting order cancellations on pre-orders (which include backorders) as we can’t even cancel these parts with some of our manufacturers anymore.
