Why the Kit?

We have offered these components separately for a while now, but for those who are looking for the whole package, buying each piece separately means that you will have leftover pieces to adapt the intercooler to the factory charge piping. This kit eliminates those redundant parts, simplifying the install process and, more importantly, reducing the overall cost of the upgraded Intercooler bundle!

Technical Notes:

It’s no secret that Honda’s 1.5L turbo Civic is extremely susceptible to heat-soak, especially when retaining the factory intercooler. Excessive heat-soak increases the risk of detonation and causes major power-loss due to high charge air and cylinder temperatures. These issues become even more prevalent with spirited driving and/or increased power outputs. The PRL Motorsports intercooler upgrade decreases charge air temperatures while increasing potential airflow with its dense 550+ horsepower rated (though we have pushed 600+) 26x4.5x5.9” bar-and-plate bar-and-plate core and machined billet aluminum end tanks! This intercooler utilizes factory mounting spots with our embossed end tanks.

Our charge pipe upgrade kit utilizes a smooth flowing, larger inner diameter cold-side charge pipe (1.25" factory compared to 2.5" piping with the PRL kit) for increased airflow and factory diameter hot-side outlet to aid in turbocharger spool.

Our High Volume Intercooler Outlet promotes laminar airflow by eliminating the bottleneck of the factory intercooler/charge pipe connection and allows for a smooth transition to the inner diameter of our Charge Pipe Upgrade Kit. The High Volume Intercooler Outlet also features a methanol injection bung - this location allows the methanol time and space for proper atomization for consistency throughout the charge air, which is ideal for tuning, safety and cooling. 

This kit includes all hardware needed for a seamless install.

How fast is shipping?

Most orders placed on a weekday before 1pm EST will ship out the same day. Otherwise, it is common for parts to ship in 2-3 days from order date. Please note that both of these exclude special order items, which are clearly marked on product pages.

What is the returns policy?

Most products sold by Axion Industries LLC are covered by our Standard Return Policy and may be returned within 30 days of the original invoice date for a refund. Please note that a restocking fee will apply (see "Refunds Policy" in FAQ).

All returns require written approval from Axion Industries LLC. Original Shipping and return shipping charges are strictly non-refundable. For more information regarding our shipping refund policy, please refer to the "Refunds Policy" on FAQ.

Does it come with a warranty?

Axion Industries LLC does not offer any type of warranty coverage for defective products except those that are manufactured by us. However, the majority of the products available through our website are covered separately under a manufacturer's warranty.

What happens if I want to cancel?

Unfulfilled, cancelled orders will require a 10%-30% cancellation fee unless you choose store credit (a 5%-15% cancellation fee will apply in this case). This fee is to:

  1. Recover the processing fees for both the order you placed and the order
    you canceled.
  2. Cancellation fees imposed by the manufacturer, should the part be coming
    straight from them. OR
  3. Restocking fees, since the part now has to be resold.

The following may NOT be canceled:

  • Orders that are already fulfilled – the Returns Policy will apply.
  • Pre-orders - the Returns Policy will apply.
  • Special Order items that were approved for sourcing by the customer.
  • Items that are on sale and labeled "final sale" during that sale period.
