Most gearheads have struggled to remove a stuck oil cap at some point. The Podium-Ti gracefully avoids such issues thanks to its cross-drilled holes and machined hex that allow removal using a screwdriver or socket. Of course, it also permits hand removal using its gently scalloped profile. The Podium-Ti is carefully machined from 6AL4V titanium, and the finish is applied by hand, making every piece unique. Two finish options are available including Burnt Titanium (SKU 1957-BRN) which boasts a beautiful gradient fading between gold, purple and blue, and Splatter Titanium (SKU 1957-SPL) that features a burnt blue finish with purple and gold splatter accents. Attention to detail abounds in this design with subtle features like a dovetailed o-ring retention groove, helpful technical markings, and critically placed fillets to help keep the oil cap looking great even after repeated loosening using tools. If you find your titanium looking a little lackluster, use a microfiber cloth and some household rubbing alcohol to wipe the outer surfaces down.
